CAUSES & CONSEQUENCES OF THE CHROMIUM NITECLUB FIGHTING

A compilation of several videos from 6/05 to the present with CHICAGO NIGHTCLUB FIGHTING in the vicinity of Lake & Halsted Streets. Fighting occurs outside 2 Lake Street clubs, between Halsted and Green Streets; CHROMIUM NITECLUB @ 817 W Lake (on the right) and SHADOW BAR (formerly CLUB REUNION) @ 811 W Lake (on the left).

THIS VIDEO CONCENTRATES ONLY ON THE CHROMIUM NITECLUB FIGHTS, with emphasis on the lingering crowds and police response required to control the fighting and collateral problems.

Besides the fighting victims, WHO is suffering the consequences of all the nightclub fighting?...It's the surrounding residents, businesses and the 12th District CPD. On Friday and Saturday nights, when CPD resources are most needed at all the other 12th District locations (Pilsen, ABLA Homes, the Near West Side), Officers must be diverted to the Lake and Halsted area nightclubs...to do what nightclub owners irresponsibly choose NOT to do.

The West Loop neighborhood appreciates the 12th District CPD's consistent and diligent efforts to control and monitor the nightclub situation.

We believe it's time the NIGHTCLUBS are held accountable for the problems they create.
