if you want( (rather irrelevantly to what @OnyxtheDrummer said) to imply that there is more 'social justice' (or whatever ) now, you are wrong. only liberal westerners living in their propaganda bubble can believe that.
there was/is injustice, discrimination, exploitation and plain barbaric murder by west then and now. no change
however as said by others, quality of hollywood movies have deteriorated becoming more vulgar, stupid, and superficial

1 of my all time favorite 'comfort food'.Gime this,'BringUp Baby','The Awful Truth'and 'The Woman" and they don't get much better.Ofcourse,all Hep/Tracy films were gems,as were all Cary Grants films...

There was never a real kiss between Kate and Cary? ...I know they kissed at the end of "Holiday" and I think they kissed in "Sylvia Scarlett"

Thank you for posting this marvelous film. It is one of my favorites and a favorite scene in the film. This is a real kiss. I love Cary Grant. Cary is my favorite actor, but I love Jimmy Stewart as well and Jimmy Stewart was a great kisser. Look at "It's A Wonderful Life."I love real old fashioned romance. I am so sick of seeing films in modern day where they slobber all over each other. The key to a wonderful kiss is the look of longing in their eyes and voice, and very passionate embrace.

Some things were just better like this. Jimmy was a marvel as was Cary. Here is a bit of info. n the 4 movies Cary did with Kate, there was always a love story but never a real kiss!

Kate could be harsh, soft, sexy, brash, practical and vulnerable in one scene. How fabulous!
