Nice place, as is Lyme Regis which is just after West Bay, if you start from Portland, my home town. I think these two places, West Bay and Lyme Regis are great places to relax and unwind, the people are friendly and if you have a boat, like I do, they are good places to sail to and moor up for a day. Plenty of walks, i remember walking up in to the hills over looking Lyme Regis, that was a good day. I will return to West Bay in a few weeks time with my mother, as she last went there at 8Yo.
