Frans Fransiscus

Dutch Artist, Frans Fransiscus was in town, and I managed to catch him in the lobby of the Chelsea Hotel, just before his flight back to Amsterdam. It's a brief interview, and there is some vacuuming going on in the lobby of the hotel, but you can hear Frans all right.
Frans' paintings are very much about story telling. In this chat, we mainly talk about his "Works of Mercy" series, and how his work is influenced by older art that usually contains religious themes, though Frans is not, himself, particularly religious.
