Theatre of War 2: Kursk 1943 - The Probe Before The Storm - Part 1

Another Theatre of War 2: Kursk 1943 movie.. just wanted to make another to show the world again the Greatness that is this RTS simulator by 1C.. I ran in2 some difficulties in the movie making process so i have to make it in 2 PARTS.. part2 hasn't been made yet..

@ladyshae904 hey thanx, I'm a film student and this is what i did before the course i started just to get familiar with video editing software... I'm going to get a camera soon and start making a short film CANT WAIT !

@Kristopful i wanted to make a sequel to probe before the storm " hence the part 1" but fraps stopped working with tow2:kursk completely ! its like it just completley gave up and said " IM SICK OF THIS KURSK CRAP" and i couldnt be bothered working out what the issue was...

sometimes it worked perfectly other times you could record 6 vids in a row and they were all damaged.. but yeah its actually pretty easy to make videos of games :D - provided everything works fine !

@Kristopful Ok, well i used a program called "FRAPS" to capture the footage then edited it with a program called "video pinnacle spin".. which is a basic movie editor program.. I actually started a film and visual fx course this year so these vids were made prior to this for general interests sake..

Now FRAPS isnt the best its kind of annoying.. sometimes it is easy to capture footage and other times it just doesnt agree with some of my games at all...which is a super pain in the arse

@shitchops Well, I love the game & your vidios. There is a sadness in the choice of music which fits the senario perfectly. War is not Glory, but a painfull affair. How did you manage to get motion editing to make the vidios.? I have seen a few vidios that do this.No need for a complex explanation as I am no wizard with computers but I have always wondered how animated vidio from a game is captured like this. Do you use some special software to capture the animation. Is the music Vaugh Williams?

@Kristopful im on the 2nd hardest setting n only on lvl 2 of russian campaign.. i kinda got obsessed with maken vids of the game cause it loox so good ! xD

-but yeah destroying German tanks with infantry is a very fine art to master !!!! well done ! - when a tank is destroyed i consider the crewman inside as the loot :D i love haven an ambush ready for when they jump out, provided some are actually still alive... you should check heroes of stalingrad -fps out in few months it will v-good

@shitchops I've almost got to the end of Russia side campaign..but only on novice. and it's very getting hard. Have you manage to destroy a Tiger tank yet...they are near indestructable. Destroyed one with an Infantry AT grenade at the rear....could not believe my luck. Tiger was toast.! Never thought to get a screen shot.

@Kristopful thanx, it is an Awesome game, I've owned it since its release but haven't finished either campaign ha, wish ther was more of a community here in Australia, caen expansion is good to, except infantry cant negotiate basic/small fences/walls

Nice vidio. It's an awsome game. Just bought it a couple of weeks ago. It's took a bit of work to get into but is more than worth it. Great price at £15 from a store. A word of advice, you will need a fast computer to play on high settings...mine is 3 &1/2 years old but the game plays great if you drop the settings and it still looks stunning.
