it would be funny to see the flag man drop it onto the track, especially at the start of the race

I'm lucky I haven't done that during the races that I flag out there. David Hoots said "Nine car in the middle of 3 and 4 Rodney, coming to the checkered." I hate it for him, but glad he didn't drop it on the track like I once saw Doyle Ford do during qualifying at Charlotte in either 93 or 94.

Its surprising that it doesnt happen more often at lowes...nice save. You can tell control said something because Rick gave them the thumbs up.(33 sec) David Hoots probably asked if everything was under control.

Poor Rodney. I am sure he was red in the face when that happened. I wonder what the conversation between Control and Start was when it happened. DARN FENCE.
