My favorite singer in the movie was Helena Bonham Carter, but the worst singer was Jamie Campbell Bower. He still has a great voice, but he tries too hard to stretch his range. It sounds like he's hurting his voice. My favorite actor, of course, is Johnny Depp by far. He just has a certain honesty about him that makes him fit into the role so much easier. He's truly believable as both the actor and the character. Sweeney Todd is just an all-around great movie!

Really? I loved Mrs. Lovett's scream at the end! Helena Bonham Carter just has a lovely voice, even if she is screaming her head off. I don't know why, but I thought the scream was even a bit musical in itself. I dunno, maybe it's just me.

amazing film, good tv spot, but no mention of sondheim in most (any?) of the commercials. terrible!

in the longer official trailer i watched it made it look sorta like a comedy, then the shorter one looked more like a thriller nd musical which it is...this makes it look like a musical more than anything...

you know its amazing what different video editing can do. this almost made Sweeney seem like a comedy or a more of a lighter hearted movie, almost as if it were meant for family. while another trailer i watched made it look like a horror movie (which quite clearly it isnt) just very interesting
