Short demonstration of how the Ak-74 chambered in 5.45X39mm is very easily controlled and can be a great asset during the upcoming zombie apocalypse.

  • the ak does not have a bolt locking mechanism unless you install a special selector switch that has a hook on it to grab the charging handle the bolt is just pinched there by the pressure of the hammer that is pushing against it. just a tap on the but stock will send the bolt home.

  • @rarolland Which this rifle does have installed. Used to have a lightning bolt system installed on it but got real tired of it.

  • This guy seems to not know much about combat half of the time you are shooting from a very far distance

  • @mrzeke1298 This video was made as a joke more than anything man and in case you still don't understand I said the word ZOMBIE a few times. Assuming the living dead were actually real then your encounters with them would probably be close in.

  • @Kill001 Stop repeating what you heard in a history channel episode about ak47 vs m16. The Ak74 is a totally different story honey. The biggest difference between the 16 and the 47 was the AK round. Soviet's remedy to it was a 5.45 round very similar to the 5.56, however, designed to spin very rapidly and "walk around" in flesh like matter. What this means is the bullet enters your chest and exits by your leg with severe internal injuries. The 5.45 is highly accurate.

  • Cut that hair you wanna be soldier!!! Humans or zombies lol. I guarantee we will never have to worry about actual zombies. Maybe we will have to watch out for trolls, dragons, oh and those fucking vampires too. Lol. Idiots.

  • @Kekkon3n What a shame that your government make law abiding citizens jump through hoops to arm yourself...and a Vet too!

    Where do you live?

  • @beerbrewer737

I'm already trained by our Defence Forces, and I got a marksman badge during my service.

But yea, getting a gun permit is a challenge. Our left wing politicians are trying to ban weapons for civilians, I hope I get my permits before that. It's already tough to get & might take years, because we cant buy "too powerful" guns so I'll probably have to start with a .22L and work my way up from there. Might take years to get a semi auto 7.62x39mm even for a reservist :(

  • @Kekkon3n As long as you're armed and take rifle fighting classes that's what is important! Rock on bro!

  • @beerbrewer737 For me it's Sako Rk95 all the way, athough my opinion is very biased.

  • @Kekkon3n The AK74 is a great weapon. I used to be an AR guy but after converting a Saiga to an AK74 I am now an AK man. YMMV.

  • @mikhail718 Dude! Zombies are real. Be ready, be careful.

  • @mikhail718 Not only that! A .22LR 1:1 Ak replica would be awesome. :D

    Nice video.

  • lol undead, sweet.

  • You have very good acquisition of your targets man! Excellent demonstration
