George Weigel, definitive biographer of John Paul II, speaks at Franciscan University of Steubenville on the role John Paul II played as the greatest defender of the prerogative of reason and the necessity of faith. John Paul II, and especially the Catechism of the Catholic Church, were a response and a push-back against the relativism and attendant tyranny of the post-enlightenment period.

Weigel was on campus as part of the Distinguished Speakers Series sponsored by the Office of Advancement at Franciscan University. Find out more at: http://www.franciscan.edu/distinguishedspeakersseries/
