True, but they didn't say anything necessarily for this ad. They were likely samples from various pre-existing shows. Notice none of them say "Burger King."
@Johnlindsey289 Of the large ones I had Skyfire and the tape recorder (whose name I forget) with the little bird tape cassette that would come out. That was a pretty cool one! I didn't keep these because they were so beat up that I finally got rid of them a year or so ago, ha.
@Johnlindsey289 No Thundercats. I don't even recall seeing any toys of them, or else I would have wanted them probably. Transformers when I was a kid were pretty expensive toys, especially the big ones, which were made of metal back then. I had two big ones and two little ones. The little one I had was Bumblebee because he was my fave, but he was poorly made. One arm broke off right away, and when I exchanged it for a new one, it happened again. Also had a flying saucer character...
No shit pal, they were boyhood crushes of mine. But what do you think of Frosta, Evil-Lyn, Catra, Sorceress, Glimmer and Mermista, hot too? let's not forget that Skeletor and Horde-Prime were awesome too. Do you remember the Secret of the Sword and live-action 1987 movies as well?
@Johnlindsey289 I actually don't remember Adora. I did like Teela, and probably She-Ra. I remember very little about the show or characters though. I just remember they redid the show on Cartoon Network at some point, and I preferred the girls there even more. I've never seen the Lundgren movie, though I hear it is totally different. I can say honestly though that I have never been into the warrior woman thing. I'm more into the more girly girls, like Disney's or Anime schoolgirls, ha.
@Johnlindsey289 I also didn't like the size difference of the toys. I was used to the Star Wars figure size, and I hated that figures were being made larger for other subjects, because I liked them to interact with the figures I already had. I did eventually get 5 Ninja Turtle figs many years later, ha (3 of them were April). Never any He-man figs though. I would buy new style figs, or even better, sculptures, of Teela and She-Ra if I found them though. But I don't recall ever watching She-Ra.
The Burger King King is really King Randor. Times are tough, even for Eternia's royals.
