  • Hey dude you've really inspired me, keep up the good work! I barely started shot put and I'm working my way up, this vid really helped. Have fun throwing in college bro, you're a monster!

  • @jes031 :)

  • @realrapbro I'm a collegiate shot putter so I have a small amount of knowledge on the subject. I seriously doubt his arm can achieve the escape velocity necessary for me to exit the atmosphere much less accelerate me to another planet. N00b.

  • @jes031 Dude, I see what you're trying to say, but.... this guy will shotput you onto another planet.

  • @realrapbro Just because you have "10 full rides" which is unlikely due to the limited amount of scholarships available for an entire track team doesn't qualify you to do half squats. Now if he was preparing to peak in a couple of meets then yea rack/half squats would be fine. Since its early in the year by high school standards full squats are better because it will strengthen the whole posterior chain and alleviate knee issues and back problems. I would drop the weight and squat properly.

  • @SBra07 The kid was 5'8" 185 lbs. throwing the 12 pound shotput 60 feet as a junior in high school. How low do you want him to go? Ass to grass? Cause that's stupid, that's how you hurt yourself. Clearly you're not listening to the music, because he's giving his glory to somebody who created you. And he's got full ride scholarships to over 10 division 1 colleges. Have a nice day.

  • instead of thinking you are a badass squatting 5 plates you should leave your ego at the door and start squatting to depth

  • ur a beast!! i would highly suggest you find yourself a good experienced strength and conditioning coach with olympic weightlifting background ASAP!!!! It will make a world of difference in your throwing

  • Still need alot of work...
