canadians use the 'u' in colour too..."color" looks really weird- you guys also spell favourite, rumour, honour without it :S.- we also usually add a double 'l' in front of -ing

Ok, fair point, but Melissa it isnt pronounced col-or its pronounced col-ur hence the 'u' although I have to say, center DOES make more sense.
But this is an age old battle, different countries are taught different, and thats how it will always be. You can't teach an old dog new tricks (I actually dissagree with that statement therefore I will say: A leopard cannot change its spots).

Dude no. Sorry. that's like saying the first prototype is always the best. That the inventor can't ever improve.
