Inspired by the Macedonian sling dart of ~ 170 BC. This time it is held at the point of balance and the fletches are right at the back. The launch is much better and the flight is more stable. The dart flies to the same point of aim as a stone launched from a conventional sling, unlike the Mk1 tail-gripped dart. This Mk2 version is a practical and highly lethal weapon system.
