The best part about N-scale are the scale length trains one can pull! W discovered that we had some fairly sharp curves as our limiting element.

Because we use the splendid Kato Unitrack system (always in gauge, always great continuity, always durable, always flexible and reuseable... OK I could go on and on), the fix was a snap we bought four packs of the widest radius and in about an hour the job was done!

  • @MrSkywaka If you use the Kato track system, #4's are handy for most applications (the come with all the little 'pieces parts' for any purpose... I really recommend getting a KATO track template (included with most switches and on the internet) to assist you in panning... Irecommend the Kato Unitrack very firmly... it is rally the best

  • nice x switch thingy! :0

It is Kato Unitrack... a superior product!

  • Model railroad pre-made tracks go from straight to curved. Real life tracks have a transition bulit in where they go from straight to a gradual curve. Otherwise they would probably derail. Hand built model tracks can have the transitions built in. While it may be a little distracting to see, it is still very interesting. Dr. Boyd has shown me the reality of his tracks and it is good!

  • Stills looks weird when all the car carriers hit the corners looks like they swing too much.

  • The first part of this video looks cool-- it's like looking down on the ATSF in Barstow. It looks like the desert
