  • i don't find hello.php file!!!

  • @formyblackart The hello.php doesn't exist beforehand and is not necessary to install PHP. I created this file during the tutorial for you to be able to verify that php is working properly on your machine.

  • doesn't mac os x come with apache and php?

  • @aricjiang420 Yes, all you need to do is enable them. The advantage of using XAMPP or MAMP though is that apache and php would run only when you need them and not all the time (which will use system resources unnecessarily).

  • Whats the difference between XXAMP and MAMP ??

  • @HUSTLINISMYGAME Not much difference. Both of them share the functionality as far as running PHP.
