@yerushalmit Lapland really is not that special, I am a swede and I have lived in the north of this country for a number of years. It costs so much money to come here as a tourist, I would spend that money on a vacation somewhere else! Norway is more beautiful if you want to come to scandinavia, but it´s even more expensive than Sweden. Maybe you should think about Alaska or Canada? But to answer you question, yes, if there is no snow in january in Sweden, then hell is on earth..
