Some claims are so absurd that the person being accused will not answer such claims as to avoid giving them any credence. Not filing charges doesn't mean they're guilty. I have no idea what happened, and neither does anyone else. Trusting someone's account who was the victim of mind manipulation doesn't seem like a great idea though imo.
