these nuggets sell for $60 a gram,  on ebay, so a kilo would sell for $60K

When large portions of Folsom Lake dried out during the 2009 summer heatwave, I found several small gold nuggets near the Granite Bay inlet and 73 coins (thirteen of which were pre-1950 silver) and about a milion fishing hooks :D
