  • yea i tried that, it doesnt go high enough for me, i like my beaters close to the head and the footboard and spring tension pretty high. i got the spring issue down, i just used the allen wrench that came with it to manually turn it. and i tried to manually change the beater angle by taking out the screws and repositioning it, well it turns out, that it only moves forward about a centimeter back and forward, and when you tighten the screws, it goes right back to the position it was at.

  • @danvranic Maybe a couple of things. One, at about 8:44 of this video, I talk about adjusting the chain; that will adjust the footboard height independent of the beater. Also, I haven't tried this, but you can loosen (or remove) the allen wrench screws that hold the beater on the bar and try to reposition the beater, then re-tighten the allen wrench screws - that will adjust the beater independent of the footboard. Let us know how it goes!

  • i did, i have had these videoes favorited since before i bought the pedals. is it possible to change beater angle and footboard height independently

  • @danvranic Hi Dan.

If you haven't already, watch the part 4 of 4 video, from 1:07 to 3:38, and see if that helps you out. Hope it does!

  • i got the vex and i use it as 2 single pedals, but i just cant get it to be comfortable, its just not working. my springs also dont loosen easily at all. i have to actually take the springs off and use a wrench and turn the whole screw so i can tension or de-tension my springs. And im just having trouble adjusting everything

  • Ok now really, who gave this video a 'one' rating? Really? Please, tell us why!
