MWS is a very Godly man and it is my firm belief that the hand of God is with him always and if he wants to remake a song and give credit where credit is due i dont believe anyone can say that it was a wrong choice. MWS walks with God its obvious if you have ever seen him. He is a man after Gods heart and i believe he is doing what is right and honoring God with all that he does, which is more then i can say for most "christians" today. This is an amazing song writen by a great group.

I love this song. I consider myself a Christian.I am amazed at the comments.The lyrics nailed me where I was at with the Lord when I first heard it.I have been shocked that Air1 or KLOVE do not play this song.I suspect now based on what I have read here they don't approve of it’s origin. A shame. I did not read all comments but I believe MWS picked this song because either he or one of a close friend or musician friend felt moved by the lyrics.

Well,that thing that concerns me is about choices.W/ Leaders must always be asking for guidance and be willing to surrender their will to The Lord.And the Lord guides us many times in our choices,but we must surrender our will in him.It is very weird to me that someone chooses something secular to praise the Lord.And except from M.W Smith,Others have done it too.It seems like comprimisation with secular world-and this is something that the Lord doesn't want.It doesn't seem right to me.

Slightly late, but feel a little uncomfortable about some of the opinions and the "us and them " way of thinking . If it is true that we are made in Gods image, then isn't it also true that we are all capable of creating art that can move people. Regardless of belief. When I buy my wife flowers, I don't check if the grower was a Christian and intended the flowers to lead her in Worship. But they are beautiful and inspire her. Come on guys, drop the religion nonsense

@CJoanLin First of all,we are making a conversation.I respect your opinion,but: I don't remember if I have mentioned it before,but I didn't say I dislike MWS.I hear a lot of his Worship cds,and I find most of them pretty annointed.But in this case,in this song,I think MWS just chose it because he liked it as a song and maybe thought that it could become a hit.Do you think that God would give him the guidance to choose from secular songs?God's heavenly music can not even compare to secular music!
