we hadn't played this song in a while. i was in china, for example. well, here it is. it still exists.

notice that i now use a zvex fuzz factory during the solo (winking smiley face)

the amp is a fender blues deluxe. again, i hate the tone. why can't the tone just sound the way i want it to?

someday (soon, i hope) i'll figure it out. it might require me to buy my own amp!

  • Excellent over the BBC news.

  • which part of the song, and which part of the BBC news?

pooling ideas for future marketing schemes lol

coincidentally our entrance music is the old early 1980s NHK news theme song (composed by ryuichi sakamoto)

  • freaky nip solo

  • does that mean you like it

  • bad pun.

yeah, i do like it though (the solo).

  • oh ok cool

    i like the solo, too!

i wish i liked the rest of the song as much as i liked that solo! i guess you need empty-ish parts to lend impact to the good parts, though. maybe a bassist (hmmmmm i wonder if we are getting a bassist soon!) will make the empty parts just full enough.

  • @108x Have you tried playing through something with a tube rectifier?

I have a 59 Bassman RI I love to fuzz out, Orange AD30s also get sick fuzzzz.

  • @108x

BBC Channel 1 national news Nov 11.

The articles on National Remembrance Day and about a teenage rapist being released.

  • it's not, uhh, exactly how i want it to sound. i can't really say.

    it needs a little compression.

and some much better speakers! and a better amp!

i wish i could say, in very few words, what i want to fix about the tone. in fact, maybe my inability to explain what i want is as big a problem as the tone itself!
