@Meowjk The term "Independent Woman" is almost an oxymoron. How can a woman be independent? Men probably run the business she works at. Men made the car she is driving. Men probably runs the business she buys her shoes and clothes from. Men are needed for procreation, which is woman's main purpose in life. So when woman say things like "We can do whatever without ANYBODY," That is the saddest lie that feminism tries to spread amongst women across the world. I'll let you reflect on that.

Women & men make cars, women & men make shoes and clothes, specifically more young girls than men in the countries where the labor conditions are harsh with little pay, long hours and dangerous work conditions. Women & men work together to procreate but it is NOT the main purpose of a woman's life. So yes, when a woman says, she can do whatever she wants without ANYBODY she can. Open your eyes.

@julia29876 I agree that there is a general sense of negativity towards men in this short video. Yet to go back and generalize these women are "lesbians" isn't in much better taste. This video is about empowering women who feel they have to depend on men for everything in their lives. Men are not bad, many are wonderful and caring. This video isn't trying to say it's bad to be with a man or love man. The message is that women can be independent and successful on their own.

Slaves were taken to most Latin countries not just the US so when you see a "Dominican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, or Brasilian woman there is a high possibility of black blood in their families. Yeah, education is dead. Myself, I got Senior level jobs in Fortune 100's during the 2000's with no degree at all. I have two now, and they were paid for by my employers, but they have no part in my success whatsoever, I did it for the personal enrichment.

Everyday you see people with high-level degrees stocking shelves. People need to wake up and realize the good 'ol days are over and never coming back. Working and saving your money (which few people do) is the only hope.

Education isnt the answer anymore. That shit went away in the late 90's. Now its all about innovation. A degree is worthless because the job market is oversaturated with people that have Masters degrees and engineering degrees.

The economics in the world have changed and if you sont change your mindset away from education you will just end up with a worthless degree printed on $2 paper and a mountain of student laon debt (Averaging $23,000 (US).

What this documentary says to me as a Black American man is that DR women are going through now what the sistas of my people went through in the 70's and 80's. Now OUR FAMILIES ARE JACKED UP. Let's be real. GOD put man here for a reason and woman here for a reason. The reason why women are rebelling is because many men are not living up to their ordained roles by GOD on what they are supposed to be doing. Women now are trying to be independant so-called because of being shitted on.
