tbh it sounds stupid but I believe she survived if u think bout it she said its always like this for here and for james it all bleak and depressing to show his emotions and she seams unaffected by the fire, I think she was simply lost in her own personal nightmare world of silent hill.

I actually know why Team Silent made her do that. It was just in case the player was still able to see her get to the top of the stairs; they'd see Angela 'dying' in the flames.

just ignore them the game was only designed to show up to the point she goes through the flames camera hacking must cause a glitch in the programing kinda like if you use a cheatcode to bring Aeris back in final fantasy 7 after she the game will freeze up it's a simply a glitch caused by doing something that does'nt agree with the program
