Firefox slow down with nVidia 3D Vision

Firefox, internet explorer and thunderbird all experience a massive slowdown, expecially when typing, when enabling stereoscopic 3D. I believe this problem is due to out of date drivers being the only drivers available for my toshiba laptop. These are nVidia drivers 267.44. The official nVidia drivers (which don't work directly on the Toshiba, at least not for 3D) are up to 280.26. In addition to fixing this the new drivers also are required for youtube 3D and other technologies.

Which Toshiba laptop model do you have? Have you tried the latest Firefox 7? Does it still occur with that version? Are you using 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 7?

@theguzmans P750/02Q... Firefox 6 but it happens in ie7 as well... 64 bit windows 7... I'm now using beta drivers which seems to help a tiny bit in firefox though made it much worse in ie7. It also now does youtube 3d.
