Thanks for the very informative video! Just a question. Won't the decrease in affinity of O2 to hemoglobin decrease O2 binding to the protein and hence O2 circulation as well? Is it that the equilibrium of decreased O2 binding and increased O2 release eventually still releases more O2?

Thank you for the informative video. I have bought textbooks about respiration and physiology (and soon will buy chemistry books). I want to learn everything and help change how science is done. To often, science over complicates things and the solution to our problems is simple: lifestyle change and Endogenous respiration. Very informative video. The chemical equations show it all: To often, CO2 is neglected as an essential chemical for vital and healthy living. I am interested in seeing videos that emphasize the importance of CO2 since CO2 is a regulator of oxygen, fights free radicals, is a vasodilator, is a bronchodilator, decreases affinity of oxygen, and greatly aids in fighting off anxiety, stress, depression, disease, and cancer. CO2 has so many benefits that are unrecognized in the modern science.
