His arm freshly dislocated, Dan Deacon sided with the show-must-go-on advocates and banged out psychobilly techno drone complete with an ensemble that looked like it had been dragged (drugged) out of the school orchestra. On a whim the raw cacophony would be reduced to a sound more delicate than silence. Something like the thin plink of a xylophone would eagerly saunter into the baroque rafters. The lights would come up and Dan Deacon would challenge the heart of SF's hipster glitterati to a serious hi-tech hoedown.
This was the best show I've ever been to in my life....danced my everloving ass off...so amazing...

You should've gotten some footage of the crowd pogoing madly and thrashing about! It was more exciting than what was happening onstage..

I was at this show! It was a spiritual, transcendental experience.. totally fun and awesome. It did take awhile to get started, but was well worth the wait
