"History of kung fu" according to RZA, Roth and Tarantino is a fake history, based on the piss poor and disrespectful effort made in the 70s when translating and releasing Chinese movies.

I think the 4 hour version of the film would help explain things a lot more. I still probably wouldn't care for it, but it is unfortunate he was not able to get all of his story out there

I understand that this is a tribute and throwback to bad kung-fu movies from the 70's, but that doesn't excuse it. Jamie Chung, Lucy Liu and Russel Crowe steal the movie. RZA's acting was below average. The movie was all over the place. I went into this movie wanting to like it because of the trailer and I left unsatisfied and disappointed.

The movie ended up being 4 hours long. And instead of making 2 movies they cut a 4 hour movie into your and half. Theres no way you can cut a 4 hour movie to hour half. Makes no sense at all. And rza should not be the one directing the movie. He has no sense of know how to film fight scenes. QT should of made this movie. Would of been soon much better.

Every fiber of my being disagree's with you strongly, but its your opinion...doesn't detract from my opinion which is that your taste in movies isn't very good if you think this is the best movie of 2012, either that or you haven't seen that many movies this year.
