@ranth44 They actually are. I live in Canada, and one time I stopped by an American Denny's while on vacation in Oregon; so much shittier. Denny's up here is actually decent. It's not five stars, but it's not as bad as he describes it here.

Michigan Denny's kick a*$ they have a patty melt with macaroni and cheese and a grilled cheese with mozzarella cheese sticks in it. that and they had this bacon extravaganza.

basically it is where northerners go to find an early grave via heart disease because we don't have all the awesome southern stuff.

Louisiana Denny's just sounds awful. Just the thought of it. Blistering hot and humid day, sweating your ass off, eating pancakes and bacon cooked by a possibly racist, definitely homophobic chef who has the hygiene of a shit house rat.

Canadian Denny's are FUCKING GREAT! Its a real wafflehouse, its waaaay better than IHOP.
