Although i'm "only" 37,every time i listen to a ballad of the "golden decade" 1955-1965, it's like drinking honey....
An amazing sweet sensation than NO OTHER music can make me feel!
And it's not only music. The voices, the style, the dressing of the women bands of the '50s and early 60's it's like a dream....
Watching them gives you a sweet, worm, cute sensation matching perfect the voices and the music. They transpire a sweet sexuality and not the vulgar, brutal provocative sexism of today!

@tylerwright47 not for the mideast crowd it was not a drug haze.I remember it very well as muscle cars and girls were our drugs...
-
@someoneme9 isnt thier a saying that goes if you can remember the 60s you werent really there. Pretty sure the "drugged up haze" started in the 60s. I mean with all the acid being dropped and weed being smoked
-
@theaznlvr No way am I complaining........Just glad that I grew up when I did.
-
@someoneme9 i sure in 50's and 60's it was also a drug out haze.lets not judge.
-
so why you complaining? Amy Whinehouse made herself after Ronnie Spector
@insipid4444 There's No Way Anyone Knows What It Was Like Growing Up With This Kind Of Music, Except For "Us" Who Did. Everyone Was In Love With The "Ronnettes"- Beauty, Big Frigging Hair, Black Eye Liner, Voices, Sex Appeal, Arm Movements, Grinding Hips!!
Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa*******

The 50s and 60s were the best. The 70s went into a drugged up haze and it all went down hill from there.
