In this video, I demonstrate how to:

1. Get help in R.
2. Read Stata (.dta) files into R without opening Stata.
3. Use an R Script
4. Perform basic math to compute summary statistics
5. Create a new variable and append it to an existing data frame using cbind.

I hope this is helpful!

I have posted other material related to this video and other videos on econometrics in R at my metrics blog: http://novicemetrics.blogspot.com
