That was a pretty good experiment. I did notice that you used a lot less UDPP tho lol.. so you do get more bang for your buck for sure. I've only tried the paint in bare canvas so far but I'm looking to get some UDPP soon. The reason it may have blended better with mac is because its all mac products but that's just a guess. Oh and if other people have already mentioned this just ignore this lol :P
