Good God! These guys, "The Moby Grapes" are smoking! Whoever engineered the mics plain sucked. You can hear everyone is singing on key and singing and playing their hearts out. I am grateful Grape, especially Bob Mosley, is captured for all posterity.

I don't care who you are. My dad had those same type chairs in his den above our garage when a kid. They're as uncomfortable today as they were then.

Furniture just wasn't built for comfort then. Much like today's IKEA furniture.. haha

The show wasn't in Cleveland, it was in Philadelphia.

further...the show was owned by Westinghouse Broadcasting who owned, at that point, KYW-TV in Cleveland. The show started here. At some point, they traded stations and the station (along with the show) wound up moving to Philadelphia. It eventually wound up in L.A.

But the show, and the station, both started in Cleveland. The NBC station in Cleveland is now known as WKYC-TV 3.

wow, they really let 'em play for a long time. I bet Mike and the broad were quaffing back gin highballs a'plenty to steady there nerves while the moby grapes were creating all that noise.

LMAO! That introduction was the goodest!

The Moby Grapes!?

How the eff' did they get this gig; why?

Then, Douglas comes out before the end of the tune and proceeds to give 'em a hand while they're still playing!?

LOL!
