Tango argentino "Zaraza" - Duet polaco: W.Gran - A.Harris

Regarded as Argentine, Uruguanan tango "Zaraza" was very popular also in Poland in prewar time with a title 'When guitar is playing the song'.
This is very rare rendition made by two young Polish singers - Wiera Gran and Albert Harris, the only one they made together, short before outbreak of the WW2.
Both experienced and suffered exile and emigration.

Why Uruguyan?! The composer Benjamin Tagle Lara was born in Buenos Aires (San Telmo) on 23 June 1892 and there he died on November 9, 1932. "Zaraza" was sung for the first time in Uruguay but it remains an Argentinean tango-cancion composed by an Argentinean composer.

Anyway the Polish version is a nice one. I love it.

yes, it seems to be an argentine tango, but the romanian version is much better in interpretation of Cristian Vasile, the great troubadour ..
