@animetrixer I believe that is a special grip called a Sarge - Easter Grip. It is used for higher rev players. It has the middle finger using a fingertip grip while the ring finger uses a conventional grip. This causes a more vertical rotation than horizontal rotation.

I think I believe you on that one, Zedmaniac. I'm a 25 year old who is pretty good, I came close to doing a perfect game with this ball. Well, I think you should get the Scorchin' Inferno, or the Radical Inferno. Those two bowling balls are monsters when it comes to a hook. But it's only my opinion. This is by far my favorite ball I had.

i am 12 yrs old and big for me age. i rev at abt 350 rpm and abt 13 mph. i got a tropical storm and a domination. My avg is abt 160 and im carrying 13 lbs balls. i got a maxim which is 14 lbs and my friend gave it to me. now, i am in search of a ball that will handle well on medium to oily lane conditions. should i get a radical inferno, scorching inferno, comfort zone or a gravity shift? or the new black widow venom? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!! thx PEACE OUT. btw, you good man.
