  • @UnrealSickness Thats a good question, which can have varying answers depending on the poet you talk to. I believe emotional pain is the same no matter what or who caused it. Everybody know's what "sad" is, and how being hurt feels but I think the talent of a poet is about channeling their own pain into words, other than just sad or hurt, in such a way that makes it beautiful. Sometimes its about empathy.For me, I write what I feel mostly from experience & sometimes from suffering I have seen

  • @UnrealSickness How do you write about the other world when there are no words to really convey an unshared experience? How do you inspire someone to feel an emotion that someone has never had?
