First footage of HMS Vanguard after collision with Le Triomphant in the Atlantic. Vanguard was moved at night into the Faslane shiplift in an attempt to avoid being seen. It is reported that there is a significant dent in the hull of Vanguard. The submarine is armed with 14 Trident missiles, 48 nuclear warheads and powered by a nuclear reactor. Filmed at 3 am.

  • Minor damage, boat remained in service.Embarrasing yes but showed just how quiet and hard to find these boats are.
