KATUN' river

This is a video-shot of some landscapes of South-Easten Siberia -- wonderfull mounty region, cut by cold streams of KATUN' - the biggest river in Altay, may be the most mystically beautifull & respectably dangerous. That were the places where ancient Scythian tribes used to live long before they migrated to the Northen Black Sea steppes. And one can see the first pictures ("petrogliphs") drawn on rocks by prehistorical man...The unique threshold of Asia ...// Music by Russian rock-group KALINOV MOST - it was composed as a sincere dedication to KATUN'. Hi! Thanks for the appreciation of the videos I posted on youtube. Yes, I did a videoclip for one of the beautiful songs by famous russian group Kalinov Most, the name of the song is "Katun' " - "Катунь", - that's the name of the river in Altay mountains where Kalinov most used to play concerts participating in the "Festival on rapid river" .

The song was composed by the talented poet & leader of the group Dmitriy Revyakin after the first great performance given there in 1999 . Then it was recorded in a new arrangement for the album "SWA" ("Real-Records" 2006).

Wow, Been there for rafting 2 times. Katun, Chuya and Chalushman. Altay is great!
