Nick: so why does you sister need some cheering up?
Maddie: her boyfriend broke up with her today
Nick: oh that's too bad *looks over at kayla and Kevin and laughs* but it looks like shes having fun with Kevin
Maddie: *looks over and giggles* yeah its always nice to have good friends that can make you smile *looks at nick and smiles*
Nick: *slightly disappointed but smiles anyways* yeah
Episode 13
*they all take their food and go into the theater, and they sit down: Kevin, kayla, nick, maddie, emily, joe and the movie starts*
Maddie: *whispering to emily* so how do you like hanging out with joe?
Emily: *whispers back still kinda sad* its really cool
Maddie: *concerned* whats wrong I thought you would be more excited?
Emily: matt just broke up with me
Maddie: why is everyone breaking up today!?
Emily: I don't know *goes back to watching the movie*
*a scary part comes up, kayla jumps, maddie grabs nicks hand and emily digs her face into Joe's chest*
Kevin: *puts his arm around her when she jumps* are you ok?
Kayla: *smiling be he cant see it* never better...
*at the same time with nick and maddie*
Maddie: *realizes what she just did and lets go and blushes* sorry about that it just surprised me
Nick: *smiling but maddie cant see* its alright
*at the same time with emily and joe*
Joe: *puts his arm around her* are you ok
Emily: *shaking a little and keeps staying close to joe* im better...
*they finish watching the movie and now they are in the theater lobby*
Kayla: so did you guys like the movie?
Everyone but emily: yeah!!
Emily: omg I thought I was gonna pee my pants but It was still pretty good *smiles*
Joe: *smiles back at her and laughs a little* I told you I would protect you...
Kevin: so what should we do now?
Kayla: *looks at the time* I think we actually have to go home its kinda late
Nick: ok we wouldn't want to get you guys into trouble
*they are all heading out the door*
Kevin: *talking to kayla* so would it be ok if I called you later?
Kayla: um... yeah sure *gives him her number*
*at the same time with emily and joe*
Joe: so are you sure your going to be alright?
Emily: about what?
Joe: umm... your boyfriend?
Emily: ex-boyfriend and yeah im fine
Joe: ok but you know you can call me anytime you want if you need to talk
Emily: ok *they exchange numbers*
*with nick and maddie*
Nick: im glad I called you *smiles*
Maddie: um yeah me too tonight was fun
Nick: yeah
Maddie: we should hang out again sometime soon
Nick: yeah how about tomorrow afternoon
Maddie: *kinda sad* um actually I was going to hang out with cody, you know my boyfriend...
Nick: oh that's cool we could do it some other time
Maddie: yeah I would love to!
