The only thing I watch on my TV is the "mindless" NFL games and other sports leagues (MLB, NHL, NBA, etc.) ESPN is on my TV right now as I type this. I don't know anybody in my life who doesn't watch TV.  It's a difficult thing to stop once you have the routine down.

u dont learn anything??? come on guys obviously not true..even the lowliest reality show has some value in that they give you a sense of other peoples lives & can help to foster empathy, increase tolerance for differences, etc....& the history channel, discovery, animal planet, nat geo, & even bbc are great....there's even this show called TYT on Current TV.........

@69NAWAR69 I do cause its a pain to watch tv on a 24 in monitor and even worse tryign to get your huge heavy gaming rig moved close enough to the 50 inch tv to get the hdmi cable to reach. Then there is the constant threat of going over your bandwidth by wtchin all your shows on line. So I still watch tv and most people with a shred of common sense still do.

I haven't watched tv since 2002, and yes it IS because of the cable bill haha
