During an on-air appearance on Album 88 (an Atlanta college radio station) in early 1990, singer/songwriter John Wesley Harding spun one of his favorite tunes: Gloria Balsam's "Fluffy."

At 3:42, Harding talks about the song.

This aired on WRAS (88.5) in early 1990. If anyone knows the exact date, please let me know.

  • It was on Album 88 - during my shift - I'll have to dig up the aircheck for the exact date but I believe it was February 1990. Wes gave me the Rhino compilation and Fluffy became a staple of my airshift soon after. Nice to hear it out there after all this time! Kim S

  • @MrPink120 Kim, any luck on determining the exact date?
