From a sold-out performance at an
American Legion Hall...here is
Rick Saucedo with the 1957 classic
from KING CREOLE: "Trouble".

Known for creating one of the most authentic looks for an Elvis performance: from the charisma and good humor both on stage and off, to the song arrangement, the hairstyles, clothing, and (most importantly) the voice, Rick Saucedo remains one of the most respected and successful ETAs. Upon emerging in 1972, after being one of the most popular, well-known, thriving ETAs of the 1970's and '80s with numerous Vegas appearances, coast-to-coast tours, and a five month engagement on Broadway, Rick Saucedo ended his U.S. touring and Vegas engagements to form a centralized career in the Midwest. In addition to his ETA work, he is becoming more recognized today for his original songwriting. Fans can still catch Rick at one of his over-100 performances each year, mostly in Illinois and Indiana, but on occasion: Wisconsin, and Tennessee.

  • what do you think Elvis would say about Rick Saucedo.

  • Elvis thought of ETAs as the highest form of tribute...I heard he really appreciated it. As for Elvis' thoughts on Rick, I don't think anyone would remember what Elvis said. Elvis knew of Rick as he was gaining fame in the mid '70s, I believe there was a plan for Rick to meet Elvis at a concert, but it fell through.

  • What I find interesting about Rick is how well he has held up, he is now a few years into his 50;s and still looking much younger than his years plus he is sounding and doing things Elvis gave up with his voice in his late 30's early 40's. Rick is still a great performer and a performer that will continue to have many more good years I'm sure. Good job Tom liked the B/W to Color deal.

  • thanks...that's what always keeps the fans coming back...he does a show in a jumpsuit with the 1970's material, but then he undergoes a complete transformation when he returns for part 2 with the styled hair and the '60s clothes with a much higher voice doing those early songs...such a great Elvis combination
