@elvensbane I think the legal age to become an apprentice is 12. To become one, you need to find a general class falconer to agree to be your sponsor. Then you get an apprentice license. Your sponsor teaches you everything over the course of two years. and he/she will help you trap your first bird.

@matrixfoxtard But don't you need a special license? Or is it the same as a hunting license? I know 5 year olds that have their license ;p.

@elvensbane there is real no age limit just a passion

How old do you have to be to be a falconer?

I want so badly to be a falconer, and I've wanted to be one for four years, since I was ten. Now I'm the legal age where I live to become one, so I'm hopefully going to get started with the process of becoming a falconer soon!
