Compromise us into serfdom. So much for the 2 party system. One party is openly hostile to the working class using religion, nationalism and xenophobia to build a base of morons working against their own economic self interest. The other party talks about supporting workers but then stabs unions in the back, compromises continuation of tax breaks for millionaires, fails to reign in oil speculators, Wallstreet banks. Time for a third party.

the debt ceiling is raised from 14 trillion to $16.7 trillion.. it is the fourth time the debt limit has been increased since February 2009. And convenient thing for Obama Is this Extra 2.5 trillion dollars will last him until the 2012 election!!! making the Grand total Obama increased the debt limit by 2012 to about 6 trillion in only 4 years. In comparison to Bush, it took Bush 8 years to get the country into 5 trillion in debt! Its like Obama put Overdrive on borrowing!! WTF

I don't understand how $ 1 Trillion cut over 10 yrs can reduce deficit when current budget resulted in $ 1.5 Trillion deficit. If we subtract 100 billion out of $ 1.5 Trillion deficit each year for next 10 yrs, we will be burried under $ 14 Trillion + $ 14 Trillion ( debt incurred for next 10 yrs) = total $ 28 Trillion. How is such spending cut a solution?
