The first international Bat-Yam landscape urbanism biennale was held in April, 2008 in Israel. During the biennale more than 20 "outdoor rooms", planned by artists, architects and landscape architects, were installed in the city's open spaces. Residents and guests were given access to alternative outdoor sites and activities. Check out more at www.biennale-batyam.org.
