DSM was there as the IDS celebrated 10 years. The theme for 2010 was "Ultimate" where mainstream designers, up-and-comers and some OCAD student talent were all thrown into the mix. Hosted in Toronto's Metro Convention Centre, over 300 exhibitors showcased their stylish goods and 4 teams of top local Toronto Designers were commissioned to create 4 "ultra" living spaces (including local favourite Ministry of the Interior and the launch of an ambitious hotel/condo collaboration between INK and Munge Leung). Entertainment, Food and Wine were also on offer however pretty much besides the point as this was primarily a chance to preview the latest in local and international design while rubbing shoulders with Toronto "Designerati".
