@333marian1 I think you're right.... they don't realize what it means to many people. Doris still receives huge amounts of mail. And she is amazed at how many peoples lives she's touched. Her music and films have brought many people through some hard times. Hope you have a Merry Christmas too !!

Doris had one of the purest voices of any singer known and anyone who disagrees with that statement knows very little about what constitutes a good vocal talent. Opinion and taste are one thing, talent like Doris Days' transcends mere opinion, including mine.
