He missed one important detail...: all diagonal lines of the red should be the same angle, when seen from the left or right side. On this model, all three have different angles.
He also used the wrong color red. The decals (look at the nose at 5:51) seem to have the correct bright fluorescent McLaren Red. All red parts on this car are painted in this special ultra bright color. McLaren Bright Red is a very special color. Close to RAL3024, but a bit more orange/pink. Very intense color.

Mr.Kawaguchi said that if fluorescent pink was not painted on the fluorescent red, the fluorescent red will be faded out in few years, so he painted fluo- pink over fluo-red to protect it.
In this case, fluorescent red is MP4 red.

i wish they sold some finishers gp1 & gp2 out here in the states...it gives a clean look!

I bought finisher's colour! but i didn't understand he first paint with mp4 red and the with florescent pink??

i THINK he says something about the pink could fade out after a few years, so he sprays it over mp4 red.
