I didn't have any instructions...... I just have seen the original Albert Alfaro drabbit (at Renaissance Festival) and wanted to make one for my daughter.
This is the addy for "my inspiration"

And then googled bicycle brake cable puppet and found the patent documents.
Albert Alfaro owns the patent as he is the original creator.

I had to sign up for an account (with patenstorm) to be able to view the pdf documents of the drabbit.
The most important things when making this are:
Use a straw to create the tunnel for the brake cable.
If possible , get a cable end that is large and easy to turn. This will make manipulating the puppet easier.
Playing around with how much of the brake cable sheath sticks out to find the right spot before gluing it in place. (My hot glue is not seeming to be strong enough as I am NOW having to repair that. )I got the doll eyes and the fur at Hobby Lobby. The brake cable on eBay. I since bought brake cable at walmart but it is less suitable.
Awesome
I had just finished my griffin that i emailed u about and it broke 10 minutes before ren fest so i bought a drabbit similar to what u made
