I haven't played this game in... forever.

This is just a run of the tag team mode in Dead or Alive 2. Me against the computer on normal difficulty.

Should be something like Forward, Forward, (tag out button).

You mean the tag throws? It's generally something like Forward, Forward, (tag out button), or Back, Back, (tag out button).
