  • @lilywondertwin any luck?

  • @verefiedxL never tried it on shoes. If the sides of the tear can be pulled together and you can get directly behind the leather then it should work the same way. Otherwise you may need to look for a cobbler.

  • Thanks @rocknrolldaddio ... I do my best to help.

  • @mypalrocco Actually I just recently discovered a new subpatch that is really good, Olephin. It is thin, flexible and strong. You should be able to get it from a fabric store. I'd prefer you use a craft glue or fabric glue like unique stitch not elmers glue.

  • @kwongmurphy. Nice. If u ever move to Baltimore and need work, I'll hire you ;)

  • Hi Leatherhelpguy, thanks for your video. This is the only video that I found that make sense. I am trying to fix my leather couch. I would like to know where I could buy the patch. Do I just use the patch stuff that I use for patching up the holes on my wall? You know that pink patch stuff that it will dry and turn into white? Then maybe I can find some paint to pain the patch up area to brown which is my couch color? How can you find a good match in color and what kind of color do you use?

  • @kwongmurphy Sorry I missed your comment. You can get the patch and glue at Joanne Fabric or another craft store. If you'd like you can send me a pic of your problem and i'd be able to give you more detailed input... leatherhelpguy@gmail.com
